Worked with Emergency Pastoralist Assistance Group (EPAG) as a Field officer from February to September, 1993, in its first phase and pilot project of Livestock distributions to destitute pastoralist who had lost their Livestock due to the civil war in Somalia and drought and to pastoralist returnees from refugee camps. This project covered South Western Somalia (Gedo Region) and North-Eastern Province.

This is an International Islamic NGO, based in Kuwait and funded by the Government and people of Kuwait and provides humanitarian aid to victims of drought, famine, civil war and other calamities.
